Solution

Mild steel laser-cut screens add sculptural privacy at the entrance, while exposed aggregate pathways provide clean, slip-resistant circulation. In the backyard, flat mudstone boulders form relaxed seating around a corten steel fire pit, anchored by lush Sir Walter Buffalo lawn. Gabion walls with Merbau timber caps introduce industrial texture and practical seating, seamlessly connecting the entertaining area to surrounding garden beds. Natural stone edging and low native planting soften transitions throughout, bringing balance to the contemporary materials palette.
